Objective Of College
Aditanar Educational Institution (AEI), a registered society founded by the Late Thiru. Si.Pa. ADITANAR, established Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Engineering in 1995 with the principal objective of bringing quality education within the reach of the weaker section, particularly in rural areas. It already has in its fold 5 other educational institutions, namely:
- Aditanar College of Arts and Science
- Govindammal Aditanar College for Women
- Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Education
- Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Physical Education and
- Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar Teacher Training Institute
The college has been established with the aim of imparting professional & technological education with emphasis on analytical and reasoning abilities as well as practical skills. The object of the college is to inculcate in every student a sense of responsibility towards the society and respect for human life, besides developing in them the highest standards of professional behaviour & personal integrity.
LOCATION
Tiruchendur, one of the six abodes of Lord Muruga, is situated at 40 km south of Tuticorin tenth major Port of India. The college is situated on Tiruchendur-Tirunelveli Highway, 5 km from Tiruchendur Bus stand/Railway station.
