Eligibility

Undergraduate

The eligibility for admission to the above courses is as per the norms laid down by All India Council for Technical Education and Govt. of Tamil Nadu.

Admission Procedure

Sixty five percentage of the students are admitted through counseling under Single Window System and the balance thirty five percentage comes under Management Quota.

Separate application has to be made to the college for consideration and admission under Management Quota.

Application forms can be obtained from the Secretary on payment of Rs. 200/- in cash or Demand Draft or by Money Order. The completed applications should be sent to the Principal along with an attested copy of Plus-Two mark list and other essential certificates.

Postgraduate

Candidate, appearing for final year/semester examination of the said qualifying degree course in April/May 2006 may also apply and they must produce Degree certificate/consolidated Mark sheet/Provisional certificate on or before 02-09-2006 without fail and the candidate must have appeared for TANCET-2006.

ME in Computer Science & Engineering

BE in Computer Science & Engineering or B Tech in Information Technology or BE in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or BE in Electronics & Communication Engineering

ME in Thermal Engineering

BEST OUTSTANDING & OUTGOING STUDENT

Every year, one of the final year students will be selected as the Best Outgoing student of this college based on the performance in academic, curricular, sports, etc… and he/she will be honoured at the College Day function with a medal.

Apart from the above, every year one of the final year students in each branch will be selected as the Best Outstanding student of that branch based on the performance in academic, curricular, sports, etc… and they too will be honoured at the College Day function with a medal.

Sivanthi Scholarship

Our beloved Chairman has instituted a scholarship named “Sivanthi Scholarship”. Every year, one passed out students of each branch is awarded a stipend of Rs. 2,500/- per month for pursuing study his/her Postgraduate programme. Following is the list of students benefited by this scheme:

CERTIFICATES

Right from the inception of this Institution, our students were examined by Manonmaniam Sundaranar University and their degrees were awarded to our students. From the year 2004-'05 onwards, the students are examined & evaluated by Anna University and Anna University degrees are awarded to our students.

Certificates are distributed to all students who have 100% attendance.

FACULTY DEVELOPMENT

The Management is encouraging the staff members to attend conferences, workshops, seminars, refresher/short-term courses, summer schools/winter schools, Faculty Development programmes, etc… and publishing technical papers in National/International level Journals every year to enable them to enrich & update their knowledge.
