DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS

Established in the Year 2009.

Offers MCA (Full Time) with an annual intake of 60 students.

Mission:

To provide an excellent education in the field of computer application.
To inculcate the value of Ethical Professionalism among the students.
To Promote Localization Efforts thereby removing the Language gap.

Vision:

To develop programming knowledge with latest computer trends to face the future with confidence and courage.
To develop into a hub for knowledge sharing and Research.
To produce Qualified and Ethical Professionals.

Goals:

To provide the quality education, learning environment, bridge the gap among the Rural and urban students in communicative and widening the computer knowledge thereby enabling everyone a equal opportunity and fair competition in the IT job market.

Facilities:

Furnished with air-conditioned laboratory (81 m²), department library (54 m²), three spacious and airy classrooms (81 m² each), faculty rooms (85 m²) and a Seminar Hall (152 m²).
Computer laboratory has been equipped with Quad core processors.
All the classrooms have been included in the Backbone LAN network, for the purpose of virtual classroom facility.

Laboratories:

Furnished with computers having Intel Core2 Quad Processor @ 2.50 GHZ, 2.49 GHZ with 2GB Ram.
computers are connected through a well built Backbone of LAN.
Systems can be accessed by the students on a 1:1 ratio.
Systems are equipped with Dual Booting containing Windows and Linux Operating systems.
Other Operating systems are installed using Virtual Box Tool
