He is a Sports Personality and Sports Administrator par
Excellence. Dr. Adityan is a renowned Industrialist, quiet and
unassuming Philanthropist. He has also made outstanding contribution
to the field of education. Dr. Adityan has been conferred with
Honorary Doctorates
by Madurai Kamaraj University in the year 1993, Annamalai University
in 1994 , Manonmaniam Sundaranar University in the year 2004
and University of Madras in the year 2007 for his noble services in
the field of education. Dr. Adityan has served the Senate &
Syndicate of four Universities namely, Madurai Kamaraj, Annamalai,
Bharathidasan and University of Madras. Dr. Adityan has the unique
honour of having been the Sheriff of Madras for two consecutive
terms. He has been awarded with the prestigious "Padma
Shri"
award by Goverment of India in 2009 for his exemplary services in
literature and education. Today, young students who study in his
Institutions are a living testimony to his commitment and
dedication.

Dr. J. Maheswaran
is the Principal of Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of
Engineering, Tiruchendur from 18-08-2007.
-
He has been working in the Institution from the date of
inception of the College, i.e. from 1st September 1995.
-
Earlier he had worked in Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of
Engineering for a period of 8 years in the Department of Civil
Engineering.
-
Completed BE in Civil Engineering from Alagappa Chettiar College
of Engineering & Technology, Karaikudi in 1987 and ME in
Structural Engineering in Thiagarajar College of Engineering,
Madurai in First Class with distinction in 2002.
-
Completed his Ph.D in Civil Engineering on "Performance
Assessment of Construction Chemicals in building construction"
in Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli in the year
2003 under the guidance of Dr.R.Vaidyanathan , former Principal
of Government College of Engineering , Tirunelveli & Dr.
Sivanthi Aditanar College of Engineering, Tiruchendur.
