Tamilnadu Physical Education & Sports University honoured our beloved chairman by awarding Doctorate for his exemplary services in the field of Physical Education & Sports.

Our Principal Dr.J.Maheswaran has been awarded "Eminent Engineer Award" by the Institution of Engineers - Tuticorin Centre.

Dr.Wiselin Jiji , Prof & HOD / CSE has been sanctioned with Rs.4 lakhs for her R&D project by AICTE.

Dr.Wiselin Jiji , Prof & HOD / CSE has received the following awards:

* Career Award for Young Teachers by AICTE.

* Periyar Award for Best Engineering College Teacher by ISTE , Tamilnadu.

* Anna University Award for her Outstanding Academic performance in Engineering by ISTE , NewDelhi.

* P.K Das Faculty award in the area of Computer Science and Engineering ( Junior Level ).

* Deputed to University of Nevada, Las Vegas from Dec 2010 to Feb 2011.

Dr. Wiselin Jiji, prof & HOD/CSE has been sanctioned with Rs.16.46 lakhs for her R&D Project by Central Government.

ECE Department intake has been increased from 60 to 120 for the academic year 2011 - 2012.

In CSE department, Institution of engineer (INDIA) sanctioned 3 students' R&D projects for the academic year 2011 - 2012.

DRDO has sanctioned Rs.30,000/- for conducting two days conference on "Computer Vision" in CSE department. It is scheduled on January 6 - 7.

Rs.1 lakh has been sanctioned for Civil Engineering Department by Ministry of Earth Science, Govt of India to conduct a National Worship on "Geographical & GeoTechnical Engineering"

Dr.G.Wiselin Jiji - Deputed to University of Kingston,London.

Dr.G.Wiselin Jiji Prof & HOD / CSE has been awarded "Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Prize" by the Institution of Engineers(INDIA).

Dr.G.Wiselin Jiji Prof & HOD / CSE has been awarded "Paper Presenter Award at International Conference" by Computer Society of India.

CSE department has been received an award of "Largest Student Branch Award" Region VII - Rank First.

TNSCST has sanctioned Rs. 42,000 for conducting one week workshop on “Enhancing women Empowerment through ICT” in CSE Department and Department of Management studies. It is scheduled on 30th April to 4th May 2012 at Pazhayakayal.
